An update from Npower regarding their acquisition by E.ON
We have today received this message from Janet Cocker, Head of Business Sales at NPOWER:
“As you may have already seen, following European competition approval, E.ON is now the majority owner of npower through its parent company Innogy.
The first key point is that nothing changes right now for npower customers and suppliers. E.ON and npower will now accelerate plans to build a successful, sustainable E.ON UK for the future, in the meantime however both companies will continue to run separately and independently until E.ON acquires the rest of the shares in our parent company Innogy. E.ON is expected to acquire these shares in our parent company Innogy at some point next year.”
