2019 The Year of Excellent Customer Service

At the start of every New Year, Steve likes to declare the 'year of...' as something for the team to focus on, and so 2019 has been declared the 'year of excellent customer service'.

Of course, we have always taken pride in building and maintaining excellent customer relationships, it is at the heart of everything we do here, but we want this year to be even more special. We have some exciting new developments in the pipeline for 2019 - watch this space for more news of those in the coming months!

We are well aware that the first step in being able to provide a first rate service is having a great team, something which we also pride ourselves on. Our team of experienced analysts, procurement specialists, and administrators work hard to make sure that we are always on hand to support our customers and build excellent relationships with our suppliers.

As part of our continued growth, and the investment that we are making in delivering a quality customer experience, we have this week welcomed a new addition to our team. Tremaine Moore joins us after over 20 years in the Travel and Tourism industry, offering specialist product solutions for clients and liaising with suppliers to negotiate contracts and achieve best prices. The wealth of transferable skills and experience that Tremaine brings makes him the perfect fit for the role of Client Service Support.

To welcome our newest team member we embarked on an evening of team building at Escape Kent, a local escape room experience in Canterbury. We split into two teams, and competed against each other in a 'Vice Versa' challenge, to see who would be the first to escape from one of the two identical rooms. The puzzles were challenging and fun, and a great evening was had by all. Congratulations to the winning team of Steve G, Tremaine, Gemma, and Natalie - who escaped first. Not that they have gloated about it at all!

Back in the office this week we are encouraged by a continued decline in prices, and are looking to secure as many contracts as we can for our clients while the market is in a favourable position.
