Utilitas Team Complete MoonWalk London 2018
On Saturday night, three of the ladies from the Utilitas team donned their pink cowboy hats and headed off from Clapham Common on the 21st annual MoonWalk, to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
Laura, Clare, and Natalie made the fateful decision to sign up for the walk whilst sitting on a sun-lounger and sipping cocktails in sunny Tenerife last October – little did they know what they were letting themselves in for! But never ones to turn down a challenge, they were determined to achieve their goal.
They have been training regularly since then and could frequently be seen pounding the pavements of the Kent coast on the weekends– occasionally with coffees in hand!
Set over 26.2 miles through the winding streets of London, this night-time power walking marathon was a test of both physical and mental endurance. It was certainly tougher than they had expected, but the girls are very proud to report that despite a few blisters and aching limbs they made it through and are extremely proud to have raised over £900 for such a fantastic charity.
They would like to thank everyone who supported them, and we would like to say how proud everyone at Utilitas is of their amazing achievement!
