HE Hall & Son Ltd are a small 124 hectare family farming business established in 1896 and currently managed by Peter Hall. 90 hectares of apples, pears, plums and combinable crops are conventionally farmed, the remainder of the land is farmed organically, certified by The Soil Association, and includes the country’s only traditional organic hop garden.

Utilitas managed to improve electricity by nearly 20%, Gas by 25% and was able to reduce Kent Invicta’s Waste expenditure by 36%

Utilitas have continued to audit the school’s energy expenditure and ensure their billing is accurate and after working together for 6 years savings of nearly £30,000 have been achieved.

Originally a proprietorial boarding preparatory school for boys founded in Croydon, Cumnor House School moved to its present site in Danehill, Sussex in 1948 and became an educational trust in 1988, administered by a governing body. The savings so far have totalled over £11,000, representing a 19% saving.
